Ahoy there! Here’s some exciting news to brighten up your Wednesday! We have the brand NEW trailer for 20th Century Fox’s upcoming film, The Martian. Featuring a star-studded cast that includes Matt Damon, Jessica Chastain, Kristen Wiig, Kate Mara, Michael Peña, Jeff Daniels, Chiwetel Ejiofor, and Donald Glover, The Martian is based on a best-selling novel, and helmed by master director Ridley Scott. Feels a little too close to Interstellar with a couple of this names huh? Nah! Don’t worry. I’m looking forward to the October 2nd release of this one. Enjoy the trailer!

There’s a chase sequence towards the end of The Man from U.N.C.L.E. which basically has the two leads simply driving up a hill. Not a whole lot actually happens, but it has tremendous energy, accompanied by a fantastic score by Daniel Pemberton. Which is the best way to describe the film as a whole. The story is fairly unremarkable, it’s simple, but it’s a hell of a great time. The dialogue is quick and witty, the actors all have winning chemistry, the editing is crisp, the cinematography is gorgeous, and, again, the score is splendid (really! it’s so toe-tappingly brilliant). 
Hey ho Star Wars fans! Live from Disney D23 today, Lucasfilm announced that their first film in the new standalone Star Wars stories series, Rogue One, has begun principal photography. Gareth Edwards (Godzilla, Monsters) is directing “Rogue One,” which tells the story of resistance fighters who have united to steal plans to the dreaded Death Star. The film is produced by Kathleen Kennedy and is slated for a December 16, 2016 release. I applaud Gareth taking the reigns here, but let’s hope this one is so much better than that P.O.S. Darn! I was kind of hoping for an Unrated one too. So here we are. From the makers of Paranormal Activity and writer/director Leigh Whannell and producer James Wan comes the newest and scariest chapter of the Insidious franchise. The prequel Insidious: Chapter 3 debuts on Digital HD Sept. 22 and on Blu-ray™ and DVD Oct. 6 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Leigh Whannell takes the director’s chair for the third installment, which transports viewers back to the beginning for this prequel.
