ALOHA arrives on Blu-ray & DVD August 25
From Academy Award®-winner Cameron Crowe (2001, Almost Famous, Best Writing), comes ALOHA on Digital HD August 11 and on Blu-ray™ and DVD August 25 from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The smart romantic comedy — starring Bradley Cooper (Silver Linings Playbook), Emma Stone (Irrational Man), and Rachel McAdams (“True Detective”) — revolves around a once-admired pilot, Brian Gilcrist (Cooper), who returns to Hawaii for a military contract job and is assigned to work with a young US Air Force pilot (Stone). Enter Tracy Woodside (McAdams), an old flame, who reconnects with Gilcrist, creating a love triangle that forces Gilcrest to examine what truly makes him happy. ALOHA features an all-star ensemble cast including Bill Murray (The Monuments Men), John Krasinski (“The Office”), Danny McBride (“Eastbound & Down”) and Alec Baldwin (Still Alice).

I’m not sure this trailer first shown at Comic-Con really needs no introduction? The verbiage in this first paragraph should just say click and watch me! Haha! Of course I’m talking about David Ayer’s much-anticipated Suicide Squad which hits theaters August 5, 2016 and stars Will Smith, Jared Leto, Margot Robbie, Joel Kinnaman, Jai Courtney, Cara Delevingne and Viola Davis. The film takes place obviously in DC’s new superhero universe. Come on! Click down below to get this party started and for crying out loud, get jiggy with it! 
We didn’t get to see this because you have to sacrifice parts of your soul to be in Hall H all day. This is the time where I wish I was Hermione Granger with her god-damned time-turner, it’s all about encasing that hour-reversal charm for added stability. Alas, with fresh baby deer eyes I watched the Ash VS. Evil Dead trailer this morning and immediately squirmed in delight while simultaneously planning the best-ever-halloween-slash-Ash VS. Evil Dead-party extravaganza for it’s premiere on October 31st 2015. It will be the best this Halloween. This trailer is action packed along with sprinkles of dark comedy. A little light with the dark is always well suited and it certainly doesn’t skip out on the gore. There was a lot of blood in this trailer, on faces, in cars, all over. With fast cuts galore it is visually a blast from the past. Here’s the trailer:

During a panel today at San Diego Comic-Con 2015, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment revealed brand new details and never-before-seen imagery and video from LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, the first game to feature characters and storylines from Marvel’s The Avengers, Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron and more. As part of the panel presentation, Comic-Con favorite Stan Lee took to the stage to discuss his involvement in LEGO Marvel’s Avengers, including the reveal of his very own Iron Man armor and a Stan Lee-inspired Hulkbuster suit called the Stan-Buster! Other characters revealed during the panel include Sam Wilson as Captain America, America Chavez and the diabolical super villain Crossbones. 
Aisha Tyler moderated the Warner Bros The Man From U.N.C.L.E. panel, which kicked off with a video introduction from Guy Ritchie, who is currently in Scotland filming his King Arthur film. It was a lighthearted series of intro bloopers, with Ritchie fumbling over the names of his cast. In attendance was Henry Cavill, Armie Hammer, Alicia Vikander, and Elizabeth Debicki. There was an extended trailer shown, which still unfortunately looks dull. Look, I love Guy Ritchie and I always hope for the best, so I’m crossing my fingers that the film will be better than all the trailers I’ve seen. This Comic-Con trailer just adds more explosions, but I was hoping for more clips of Cavill and Hammer verbally sparing, something Richie excels in.
We’ll soon be getting the full scoop from Jordan and Kaitlin Grout of everything that went down in Warner Bros. Hall H presentation for Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, but for now I just wanted all our readers to be able to marvel (no pun intend) and bask in the glory of everything the newest trailer, released online in the past hour, has to offer us minions and geeks on Earth. This certainly comes full circle and appears to nicely tie in with the events of Man of Steel, doesn’t it? Don’t know what I’m talking about? Sinister 2 is also spreading some evil at San Diego Comic-Con 2015. Make sure to keep a look out for gruesome “Sinister” Sightings each night. There will be a slew of terrifying projections all over San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter tonight (Friday, July 10th) and tomorrow night (Saturday, July 11th) between 8pm and 1am. Pictures is proud to announce that the animated action adventure The Iron Giant will be re-released this fall, remastered and enhanced with two all-new scenes as The Iron Giant: Signature Edition. It will be released in theaters for a limited engagement through Fathom Events. The Iron Giant: Signature Edition arrives to theaters for a special event screening on Wednesday, September 30 at 7:00 PM local time, with an encore event in select markets on Sunday, October 4 at 12:00 PM local time. Alright so here’s some big news that just came across my desktop in the past hour. The next adventure in the Anthology series of Star Wars films will be directed by Christopher Miller and Phil Lord, whose credits include the critically acclaimed The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street. Among the most sought-after filmmakers working today, the two have proven a formidable duo in film and television and are looking forward to applying their unique sensibilities to the Star Wars Universe. While I’m not overly excited for a Han Solo “solo” film, I am at the possibility of what fun Miller and Lord will make with this project. So bring it on and let the good times roll! Olive Films is excited to announce the acquisition of all North American distribution rights to Yury Bykov films THE FOOL and THE MAJOR. The two films are currently available for theatrical and festival screenings; DVD, Blu-Ray and digital distribution will follow in Q4 of 2015. THE FOOL and THE MAJOR are written, directed and edited by Yury Bykov and produced by Alexey Uchitel. Both films have garnered critical success at film festivals both in Russia and internationally. THE FOOL is set to receive a two-week theatrical run at Film Forum in New York starting September 16, 2015. Olive Films plans to make the two films available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital distribution in the latter part of 2015.
