I see a lot of promise here. Straight Outta Compton reunites Ice Cube and director F. Gary Gray (Friday!) for a film that chronicles the early lives of Cube, Dr. Dre and Eazy-E, once known together as N.W.A. I am not usually one to check out red-band trailers (they tend to give away the goods, especially with comedies), but it seems harder not to sell a film like this without one. That in mind, again, I see a lot of promise and I tend to like what F. Gary Gray puts out (The Negotiator!). We will see come this August, but for now, check out the trailer and pics from the film in this post.

Over half a decade ago, Irish singer Liz Madden made her Why So Blu debut, discussing her then new album Going Home. Liz has since built on her successful resume’ of releases, with 2015 being the launch pad for her latest album, Legacy. With each new release, Madden always finds ways to subtly separate the feel of each work from the last. Legacy proves no different.

Get ready to bring home (Little Orphan) ANNIE, the beloved classic that has delighted audiences for generations, when Sony Pictures Home Entertainment releases the modern day telling of the rags-to-riches story on Digital HD March 10, and on Blu-ray™ Combo Pack and DVD March 17. Featuring a mix of new and timeless songs infused with contemporary sensibilities, this updated version brings a hip new vibe to the heartwarming tale. ANNIE stars Academy Award® winner Jamie Foxx (Best Actor, Ray, 2004) as New York City billionaire Will Stacks, who takes in a foster youngster to boost his image while campaigning for mayor. Academy Award® nominee Quvenzhané Wallis (Best Actress, Beasts of the Southern Wild, 2012) stars in the title role as a spunky, upbeat foster kid originally left by her parents with the promise they’d be back for her some day. The “hard knock life” she’s experienced, living with mean foster mom Miss Hannigan, played by Cameron Diaz (Shrek), has also made her into a savvy, street-smart New York City kid, whose life changes dramatically after meeting Will Stacks. A family film that both old and new fans can enjoy, ANNIE also stars Rose Byrne (This Is Where I Leave You) as Stack’s assistant Grace, and Bobby Cannavale (Chef) as Stack’s campaign manager, Guy.

Officer Lou Garou isn’t the best cop in small-town Woodhaven – in fact, he’s probably the worst. He mostly just looks to avoid anything that could possibly interfere with his goal of getting wasted. One evening during the night shift, Lou investigates a mysterious disturbance at the edge of town and wakes up with a pentagram carved in his chest, heightened senses and body hair that’s growing at an alarming rate. To solve the mystery of his transformation, he’ll have to take on a case no normal cop would be able to solve, but this half-man, half-beast is not just a cop…he’s a WOLFCOP. What if the ghastly images and abominations haunting our collective nightmares actually exist? Writer/director Adam Green (Hatchet) sets out to make a documentary exploring this tantalizing premise after being contacted by a mysterious man named William Dekker (Ray Wise). Dekker claims he can prove that “monsters are real” and insists these grotesque creatures are forgotten, hideously deformed humanoids inhabiting a vast, underground metropolis of the damned. Determined to expose the truth, Green embarks on a bone-chilling odyssey and gets more than he bargains for when he dares to go Digging Up The Marrow. Based on Jane Mendelsohn’s best-selling young adult novel of the same name, the chilling story comes to life in the spine-tingling horror film, Innocence, arriving on Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD March 3 from Cinedigm (NASDAQ: CIDM). Directed by Hilary Brougher (Stephanie Daley), the eerie feature stars Sophie Curtis (Arbitrage), Kelly Reilly (Flight, Heaven Is For Real) and Graham Phillips (“The Good Wife”). Now enrolled at the exclusive Hamilton preparatory school, her psychosis and hallucinations intensify with the dubious suicides of current and past students, as does her first love for Tobey Crawford. The discovery that her new school may be run by a coven of beautiful and seductive women who perpetuate their youth by drinking the blood of virgins becomes the ultimate challenge of Beckett and Tobey’s young lives.

It should be no surprise that Furious 7 is one of my most anticipated films of the year. All the main players return and the cast gets all the added value in the world in the way of Jason Statham, Kurt Russell, Djimon Hounsou, and Tony Jaa, among others. Now under James Wan’s direction, the action looks pretty incredible as well. This is a film that seemingly has it all, as far as mainstream blockbusters go and I cannot wait to see it at least a couple times on the big screen. With all that in mind, this latest entry in the enduring franchise has an all new trailer out, which is packed with action, along with a little more context for what is going on. There are also a slew of new photos as well, so continue on to see it all!

I cannot wait to see the movie, but for now, we at least have a trailer and this new look at the film, which debuted at the Superbowl.
