Hey! It does not sound so bad when one says I got Blu-ray Cabin Fever. That’s because there’s nothing wrong with it at all! That’s right! One of my favorite horror flicks from several years back will be making its Blu-ray debut on February 16th. And BAM! Once again Roland Emmerich has created a movie that is a thrill ride from the beginning to the end, but this time he grapples with the popular conception that the world is going to come to an end when it reaches the year 2012. Unlike the paranoia that surrounded our journey into the new millennium back at the end of the nineties, which was mainly brought upon by what we thought was going to be a massive glitch affecting all of the world’s computers, the ending foretold for the year 2012 is imagined to be far worse. 
It was another busy day today for Blu-ray news so let’s get caught up, shall we? Paramount Home Entertainment has announced a December 29th Blu-ray release date for the monster low budget horror flick Paranormal Activity. While I admit to liking the film in, I’m just very cautious on how the replay value will be, even on the Blu-ray format. It will probably not be the same as seeing it for the first time, but I will give it a looksee…especially if my name is in the credits. 
If a harp had a voice, it would sound like Liz Madden. With a sound that flows through the air like rose petals through a wind chime, the Irish-born singer has recently made her way to the United States to grace us with her talent. Being inspired from a very young age by her parents, Ms. Madden encountered the world of music that would ultimately set the stage for her career. 
Is basketball really more than a game? Is painting more than some brush strokes with color? What about running? Is it more than just exercise? The answer to all these questions is a simple ‘yes.’ As the old saying goes, one man’s junk is another man’s treasure, and so holds true for an individual’s passion. While playing some pickup ball on an asphalt court might be a simple release for some, it can be a zone of absolute concentration, paradise and flowing adrenaline for others. 
Words cannot vividly express how honored and excited I am to be the recipient of the following Blu-ray disc and also to be selected to furnish a review of it. It’s literally a dream come true for me. To declare the following manuscript of confabulation a mere Blu-ray review would simply be misleading. Instead, think of it as a testament, according to the Book of Brian, to one of the greatest films ever made. 
Upon the conclusion of 2009, some of us staff here at Why So Blu will be compiling our own unique top-ten lists of our favorite films this year. The Blind Side will be on mine. This absolutely brilliant piece of work was not from the thought factory of some Hollywood writers or producers. Instead, this very real and very touching story is the product of none other than life itself. 
Shakira means “thankful” in Arabic, and as history has proven, she has a lot to be thankful for and proud of in her short life. She’s a Columbian singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, dancer, philanthropist and a prodigy. She is a native Spanish speaker who can also converse in fluent English, Portuguese and Italian. She has an IQ score of 140, which many scholars consider borderline genius.

My beloved Jessica is back, finally gracing the silver screen once again! It’s been awhile since we last seen her in action with her recent pregnancy and all, but now that she’s got that all over and done with we can finally move on and watch her do some serious a#$-kicking once again. Jessica Alba will be kicking a#$ as an immigration customs enforcement agent in Robert Rodriguez’s upcoming film Machete. 
Making a splash at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, the Starz Network heavily promoted its upcoming series Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Fans clamored for any memorabilia relating to the gladatorial production and questions filled the air about possible show content. What we do know is that everyone’s favorite warrior princess is back. That’s right, folks. 
Continuing with my non-stop Shakira coverage as of late, I am excited to announce the debut of her newest U.S. music video “Give It Up To Me.” You can check the video out in its entirety below. There’s no denying, after watching this video, that the Columbian superstar is embarking on a mission to conquer American audiences with her infectious Latin rhythms, dynamic yearning vocals and her unmitigated sexual appeal that only Shakira can deliver. 
We all know that saving the real world is easier said than done. Wouldn’t it be great if we could just all be professional full-time students for a living? I would love that job! Unfortunately, the world does not work that way for the majority of us. We are all forced to get eventually get a job and then the uncertainty begins as we struggle to climb up the ladder of success to sometimes find out everything we may have wanted may not always be what’s most important to us after all. 
Recently released on the Playstation Network is the new downloadable game, Star Trek D-A-C. For $9.99, players can buy this game with its permanent home on their PS3 hard drive. Star Trek D-A-C is a top-down shooter set in deep space where you can choose from a variety of ships, which include a flagship (such as the Enterprise or Constitution), missile cruiser, support frigate, bomber and fighter.
