A little movie with a fun cast and it is described as a neo-noir thriller? That all sounds good to me. The Lookalike presents a murder mystery and lots of characters to follow and I am intrigued by what the results may be. Husband and wife filmmakers Richard Gray (director) and Michele Davis-Gray (writer) assemble an all-star cast for the neo-noir thriller THE LOOKALIKE, debuting on Blu-ray™ and DVD Feb. 10 from Well Go USA Entertainment. In the spirit of Elmore Leonard, Justin Long (Live Free or Die Hard), Jerry O’Connell (Veronica Mars), Gillian Jacobs (“Community”), Scottie Thompson (“The Blacklist”), John Corbett (“Sex and the City”), Gina Gershon (Bound), Steven Bauer (Scarface), John Savage (The Thin Red Line) and Luis Guzman (Boogie Nights) star in the crime thriller that follows several different stories that explicitly intertwine through a drug deal gone bad. We now have a new trailer for Terminator Genisys, the fifth entry in the ongoing cyborg action franchise (though it is a partial reboot as well). Whether we wanted another Terminator film or not, Paramount has decided to bring back Arnold Schwarzenegger and produce a brand new action-adventure set in the future, directed by Alan Taylor of Game of Thrones and Thor: The Dark World fame. The film also stars Game of Thrones’ Emilia Clarke, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes’ Jason Clark, Spartacus’ Jai Courtney, Doctor Who’s Matt Smith, and The Good, The Bad, and The Weird’s Lee Byung-hun, giving me enough to be interested. Ideally this will at least be a fun entry into the series and allow for some new ground to be covered, especially given the proposed trilogy that is planned. That said, I was burned hard by Terminator Salvation, so my hopes can only go so high. Continue on to watch the trailer for the film.

One of the best shows…well, ever, is coming to Blu-ray. The Wire is both one of the greatest TV shows of all time and also one of the least represented when it comes to all the Emmys and Golden Globes it should have won. With that in mind, the expansion of HBO’s availability at least means more people will now be able to see the critically acclaimed crime drama series. First it is going to make its high definition debut on HBO Go, but coming summer of 2015, the series will be released on Blu-ray. Continue on to learn more about this very exciting news.
